The steep slanted site is situated at the interface between the city block building development and detached family houses. The urbanistic concept of the project tries to correspond with this fact: a relatively voluminous yet compact structure towards the Gentzgasse and an informal appearance towards the north where the elements dissolve into individual units between the trees. The silhouette also integrates into the existing fabric. The topography and the small size of the site didn’t allow for the accommodation of a sports field—therefore such areas and the outdoor recreation areas had to be arranged on top of the roofs of the buildings.
